The Governing Body is seeking an experienced professional to take on the key strategic role of Chair of the Audit Committee, helping guide the Group as it continues its ambitious trajectory.
A qualified finance, audit, assurance, or risk specialist is required to lead the Audit Committee and provide robust oversight of the Group’s risk management, internal control environment, and compliance with the Framework for Auditors and Reporting Accountants of Colleges. The successful candidate will offer informed challenge, support strong governance, and contribute to the Group’s continued organisational and financial excellence.
Candidates will ideally bring prior chairing or committee leadership experience and may come from a range of professional backgrounds. Experience within further education or governance is beneficial but not essential; the ability to provide rigorous scrutiny and strategic insight is the primary requirement.
