Apply today!# **Job Details****This role is in support of Cencora’s third-party logistics service in the UK through our Alloga business.****Job Overview**We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented **Failed Deliveries Operative** to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to check stock returned from our customer base for quality and accuracy, ensuring all failed deliveries are processed efficiently and moved to their designated locations within the warehouse. This role requires a strong commitment to health and safety, adherence to company standards, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.**Location: South Normanton, Derbyshire****Job Type: Full Time, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday 10am-6pm****Pay: £27,248 per annum****Key Responsibilities*** Ensure all work activities comply with the Company’s Health & Safety policies and standards.* Report all accidents, near misses, and any damage or defects to equipment, property, or products to the Returns Supervisor immediately.* Operate only equipment for which full and documented training has been provided.* Maintain personal appearance in line with company guidelines, wearing clean and presentable company uniform and a valid identity pass.* Ensure all operations meet MHRA, GDP, and GMP standards, maintaining excellent housekeeping practices.* Check stock returns against paperwork for quality and accuracy.* Complete all paperwork and UPI entries when receiving stock.* Process all failed deliveries according to established procedures.* Perform general returns activities such as tagging stock, transferring items, and loading transfer trailers.* Carry out any required FMD (Falsified Medicines Directive) activities for failed deliveries.* Report any abnormalities to the Returns Supervisor daily.* Complete full weekly validations and maintain housekeeping standards.* Support and encourage continuous improvement in all areas of contract operations.* Perform any additional tasks as requested by management..**Education*** Previous experience in a warehouse environment.* Knowledge of GDP (Good Distribution Practice).* PC literate.**Skills and Competencies*** Strong verbal and written communication skills.* High level of accuracy and attention to detail.* Basic numeracy skills.* Familiarity with warehouse operations.* Proficient in PC usage and basic software.**Personal Attributes*** Flexible approach to work, including the ability to work shifts.* Physically fit with a good attendance record.* Team player with strong interpersonal skills.* Confident, enthusiastic, and proactive.* Able to work to high standards and use initiative to make effective decisions.# ******What Cencora offers******Benefit offerings outside the US may vary by country and will be aligned to local market practice.
