Job description
Facilities Supervisor – Seqirus Vaccines Ltd (Liverpool)

Supports the Facilities Lead in delivering effective support services for Seasonal and Global Pandemic Influenza Vaccines across the Liverpool sites. The role covers facilities maintenance, mechanical and electrical, compliance management, regulatory audits, SOPs, corrective action plans, EHS compliance, subcontractor management, permitting, life safety systems, water hygiene management, small works delivery, and lifecycle capital project programs using the Seqirus project management systems. It also includes logistics, cleaning, catering, hospitality, utilities management and performance metrics for FM providers.

Responsibilities
  • Support facilities maintenance, modification and expansion projects under general supervision.
  • Supervise employees or outside contractors who construct, maintain and repair utilities systems, buildings and equipment.
  • Plan and manage equipment and machinery maintenance, and facilities modification and building projects.
  • Coordinate day‑to‑day activities to ensure operations run according to production specifications.
  • Collect and monitor data to ensure accurate response to system problems; elevate cGMP related issues to management and Quality Assurance.
  • Review and revise standard operating procedures, specifications, drawings, etc.
  • Ensure operations comply with health and safety standards, local zoning laws and GMP regulations.
  • Oversee safe systems of work such as access, permit to work, hot works.
  • Manage EHS compliance, Legionella management, fire safety, lifting operations, emergency lighting, COSHH.
  • Apply commercial and budgetary knowledge.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge on a large facilities management account in both hard and soft services.
Education
  • ONC/HNC in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering – Essential.
  • Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering – Desirable.
  • 3‑5 years’ experience related to facilities management/maintenance – Essential.
  • IOSH/NEBOSH Certificate Managing Safely – Essential.
