Roger Craig (Property and Development Manager) is on the hunt for a ‘Facilities Manager’ to come and join his team based on the 30‑acre main Charles Hurst estate on Boucher Road, Belfast.

As part of the head office property team, working alongside the maintenance team of 6; you will be responsible for all aspects of facilities management across our dealerships and making sure they are welcoming, safe and compliant. You will be primarily based on our Boucher Road estate with ad‑hoc travel across to our other Northern Ireland sites as well as Audi Dublin.

Responsibilities
  • Managing all elements of the running of the Charles Hurst Estate and surrounding dealerships including planned & reactive maintenance, security and cleaning.
  • Managing third party contracts, ensuring the highest level of statutory and legal compliance.
  • Assisting in the development, implementation and reviewing of the company policies and procedures.
  • Supporting with excellent service delivery and cost saving and efficiency generation ideas.
  • Creating monthly reports which are accurate and meet required timelines.
  • Promoting a Health and Safety culture and encouraging strong leadership through competency, work engagement and behaviours.
  • Leading ad‑hoc projects.
Qualifications

We are on the hunt for an individual who understands current Statutory and Legal compliance for Property Maintenance. Excellent people and customer service skills. Good health and safety knowledge. Knowledge of current LOLER regulation for installation, testing and inspection of garage equipment (not essential).

Do you also have experience of effectively managing internal maintenance teams and 3 rd party contractors? We are ideally looking for an individual who has experience in building strong lasting relationships as well as can demonstrate excellent communication abilities. Strong facilitation, organisational and project management skills would also be advantageous; are you confident in being able to prioritise your workload?

From an IT perspective, we are looking for an individual who has good Microsoft Office skills (in particular Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint).
