Job summary

A leading facilities maintenance service provider in England is seeking a Facilities Maintenance, Driver & Site Security Support professional to ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly. The role includes performing facility maintenance, driving company vehicles, and maintaining site security through vigilance and response to incidents. Ideal candidates will have a Full UK Driving License and experience in general maintenance and security. The role demands proactive involvement in maintaining high standards across premises and ensuring safety protocols are followed.

Qualifications

  • Must hold a full UK driving license.
  • Experience working in general maintenance is desirable.
  • Prior experience in a security role is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Support daily operations in Facilities Maintenance.
  • Maintain the standards of Glenair buildings and grounds.
  • Provide additional site security and patrol the facility.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance as per company plans.
  • Handle building repairs and decorative tasks.

Facilities Maintenance, Driver & Site Security Support
  • To support the day-to-day operations of the Facilities Maintenance Department.
  • To help maintain the standards of Glenair buildings, grounds and fixtures.
  • To provide additional site security and work in conjunction with the onsite security contractor.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • To carry out preventative maintenance procedures as required in accordance with the company preventive plan.
  • To carry out building repairs and maintenance as required.
  • To carry out decorating both internally and externally of all sites.
  • Monitor and control access to the facility, ensuring authorized personnel are allowed entry.
  • Conduct regular security patrols to deter and detect any suspicious activity.
  • Respond to security incidents, investigate disturbances and coordinate with law enforcement if necessary.
  • To undertake and provide cover for driving duties on behalf of the company in company vehicles as and when required.
Job Requirements:

Person Specification

  • Full UK Driving License
  • Experience of working within a General Maintenance background including basic plumbing and woodwork, is desirable
  • Previous experience in a security role, is desirable

Working hours: 40 hours per week.

Week 1: Monday – Friday, 4:30am – 1:00pm

Week 2: Monday to Thursday, 1:00pm – 10:00pm, Friday, 1:00pm – 7:30pm
