Job summary

A resource recovery company in Leeds is seeking a skilled Fabricator-Welder to join the Fabrications team. The role involves repairing and maintaining waste containers to high standards while ensuring safety and quality. The successful candidate must possess NVQ Level 2/3 in Fabrication & Welding, along with proven experience in MIG welding and a good understanding of health and safety practices. This position requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual who works effectively both independently and in a team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in MIG welding, additional welding processes beneficial.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
• Good understanding of workshop health & safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Carry out welding, grinding, cutting, and general fabrication duties.
• Repair and maintain waste containers to ensure functionality and safety.
• Communicate professionally with customers and colleagues.
