Job description

Job Title: Breakfast & After School Club Early Years Lead

Location: Floreat Montague Primary, William Heelas Way, Wokingham RG40 1BG

Start Date: ASAP

Contract: Term Time Only - with the option to work during the holidays if desired

Hours: 22.5 hrs per week

Pay: £13.50 an hour

Working hours: 7:30 am - 9:00 am in the Breakfast Club & 15:00 - 18:00 in the After school club - Monday to Friday

NB: you can also work up to 40 hrs per week during school holidays if desired - our holiday clubs run from 8:30 - 17:30 during those times

Note: Please only apply if you have a level 3 EYFS Childcare Qualification - this is needed due to having Nursery and Reception Children.

The ideal candidate will have an EYFS Early Years Qualification with Management & Team leading experience and able to demonstrate a real passion for working with children

  • Are you organised and enthusiastic? You would plan, supervise and deliver planned activities with structure and enthusiasm. This includes a wide range from multi sports, games, arts & crafts, downtime and structured play.
  • Are you proactive, responsible and able to follow procedures? The children in our care are our responsibility and we have protocols and policies we need to follow, we need our Club Managers to implement these with team members.

This role requires compliance with the Keeping Children Safe in Education policy and is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974. You must provide two references, one from your most recent employer and the other from a childcare setting (if applicable). We will conduct a DBS check on your behalf, so please prepare the correct documentation. You must meet these requirements to be eligible for the hiring process.
