As a Sefton Children’s Social Care employee, you will receive:
Our Social Workers in Support and Protect are responsible for supporting children who are subject of Child in Need Plans; Child Protection Plans; Legal Proceedings and Children in our Care.
You will play a crucial role in safeguarding and promoting the safety and welfare of children and young people. You will work closely with families, carers, and other professionals to assess needs, develop plans, and provide ongoing support. As a member of our team, you will be joining a welcoming, experienced, highly supportive and stable service which works hard and celebrates our achievements and good practice.
Our social workers are supported in small teams of 5 social workers, each team has an Assistant Team Manager and Team Manager to support you to deliver good social work practice. We are based at Magdalen House, Trinity Road, Bootle, L20 3NJ.
Please note that in order to apply for this postyou must be qualified and registered as a Social Worker with SWE and have post qualifying experience in safeguarding children.
