**Exams Officer Training Coordinator****Permanent****Manchester****Salary: £24,500 - £28,000****Hybrid working – 2 days per week minimum in the office**As the Training Coordinator in the Exams Officer Engagement Team, you’ll play a key part in supporting Exams Officers who deliver AQA qualifications. You’ll help create training that builds confidence and capability, ensuring each interaction is engaging and positive.You’ll coordinate and support the delivery of AQA’s Exams Officer training offer, helping ensure Exams Officers feel prepared and empowered throughout the exam cycle. You'll work across teams to facilitate the delivery of this training. Joining the Exams Officer Engagement team within the Customer Delivery function, you will be part of the team that drives the organisation to make the necessary changes to improve the services and support we offer our Exams Officers that make us distinct. You will work with all areas of the business including Oxford AQA to ensure we provide Exams Officers with a high-quality training and development experience. This role is key to supporting the delivery of our Exams Officer training offer ensuring that Exams Officers delivering AQA qualifications feel supported, confident and capable and become advocates for AQA.Landscape: Reporting to the Exams Officer Engagement Manager, the role involves the development, maintenance and implementation of the Exams Officer Training Strategy that drives customer support, training and building capability to ensure successful interactions during the annual exams cycle, ensuring clear expectations and a reduction in failure rates. This will be done by working collaboratively with key stakeholders, drawing on previous experience and working closely with the Exams Officer Engagement, Customer Intelligence and Customer Service teams to use data and customer insight to drive engagement with the Exams Officer training program. Activities: · Alongside the Exams Officer Training and Development Manager use data to understand training needs and measure the impact of training programmes. · Support delivery of training programs through excellent planning and scheduling. · Venue Management: Source, book and set up classrooms or training venues · Keep accurate records for training activities, engagement and impact. · Support the preparation of training materials. · Manage training resources, including responsibility for the maintenance of all training related process documentation folders. · Act as a point-of-contact for training participants ensuring a smooth customer experience. · Collect participant feedback to assess the effectiveness of training programs making recommendations as necessary to improve outcomes. · Co-ordination of Milton Keynes site visits for customers to increase advocacy, co-ordinate focus groups and outputs, driving operational efficiencies. Skills and knowledge: · Exams Officer experience or experience working as part of an Exams Team in a centre. · Ability to use sector experience and understanding of the regulatory environment to support development and delivery of the Exams Officer training strategy. · Strong organisational skills, an ability to plan, schedule, and manage multiple training programs and resources efficiently. · Ability to efficiently managing time to balance multiple tasks and deadlines. · Strong verbal and written communication skills.
