A Sheffield educational institution is seeking an Examinations Officer to support the Examinations Manager during maternity leave. This role entails managing exam arrangements, ensuring compliance with regulations, and assisting with data entry. Candidates should have strong administrative and organisational skills, and some experience in a similar role is preferred. The position is temporary for one year, starting February 2026.
Temporary for one year starting February 2026, 14 hours per week (2 days), term time + 2 additional week during the holidays
Grade 4 SCP 7-12 £24,402 - £28,597 pro rata (will be pro rata based on 14 hours, term time + 2 weeks)
We wish to appoint an Examinations Officer to cover for maternity leave, to support the Examinations Manager in the operation of the examination systems throughout the Sixth Form.
The post holder will be situated within and work closely with our Management Information Systems team who play a vital role in student performance monitoring and data management.

We are looking for candidates who possess excellent administrative, organisation and time management skills to join a successful and busy department dealing with a variety of qualifications the Sixth Form offers. The successful candidate will also have experience of data entry in a customer focused environment, be IT literate, flexible, particularly around exam times, able to co‑ordinate a variety of activities and must be committed to high standards of customer service. Experience in a similar role is desirable.
