Job summary

A healthcare provider in the East Midlands is seeking dedicated staff members to deliver clinical care for children and young adults with complex health needs. Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, administering medication, and supporting daily routines. Ideal candidates will have a Level 2/Level 3 Qualification in Health and Social Care and strong communication skills. This role offers afternoon shifts and comprehensive training, with ongoing support from a trained team.

Job description

NurtureCare is commissioned to support both children and young adults with complex health and additional health needs within the home environment.

Afternoon shifts from 3.30pm - 8pm, 4pm - 9pm.

We are looking for staff who have:
  • The ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Level 2/Level 3 Qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent.

PLEASE NOTE: We currently unable to offer sponsorships for this position.

Clinical care that you will provide – full training will be given:
  • Chest management
  • Moving and handling including the use of a hoist and slide sheets
  • Aiding with morning and night time routines including personal care, dressing and washing
  • Administering medication
  • Assisting with eating and drinking
Things we appreciate, but not required:
  • Previous experience working in care
  • Medication administration
