🚧 Estimator – Modular Construction

📍Location: Brandesburton

💼 Full Time | Permanent

💰 Salary: £40,000 – £55,000 (DOE)

Join a Leading Team in Modular Construction We are currently seeking a skilled and detail‑oriented Estimator to join our Commercial Team based in Brandesburton. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in the cost planning and pricing of innovative modular construction projects, working with one of the UK’s most forward‑thinking off‑site construction companies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for modular construction projects based on drawings, specifications, and other relevant documents.
• Collaborate with the pre‑construction and design teams to ensure accurate project scoping.
• Conduct cost analysis, identifying risks and value engineering opportunities.
• Assist in the tendering process, including preparation of tender documents and submission responses.
• Obtain and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date cost database and track market trends affecting pricing.
• Attend project handovers and provide input into project planning and budgeting.
• Work closely with the Commercial Manager, Project Managers, and Quantity Surveyors to support project delivery and financial planning.

Experience, Qualifications & Skills Required:

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Construction, Quantity Surveying, Estimating, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a construction estimating role (modular experience preferred).
• Strong understanding of construction methods and materials, particularly modular/offsite construction.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Capable of managing workload independently and meeting tight deadlines.
