A local government authority in Welwyn Garden City is seeking a proactive Environmental Health Manager to lead a newly formed team. The manager will oversee operations, ensure compliance with environmental regulations, and promote service improvements. Applicants should demonstrate proven experience in service management, critical thinking, and strong leadership skills. A UK driving licence is required. The role includes a salary range of £55,051 to £58,445 per year and flexible working arrangements are offered.
Starting salary £55,051pa with progression to £58,445pa through annual increments subject to satisfactory service.
37 hours per week (hybrid working).
We're looking for a proactive and enthusiastic manager to take on the newly formed Environmental Health team. This is an exciting new opportunity to lead a small team of Environmental Health professionals. The team covers a range of services including Food, Health and Safety, Environmental Protection and Enviro-crime officers.
