Job Summary

As part of our continued expansion, Xerox IT Services requires an Enterprise Solutions Architect to join our IT Solution Design team engaged UK wide with clients on IT strategy, architectures, design, and deployment & service methods. The ESA will bridge the gap between client business needs and IT solutions, ensuring technology is scalable, sustainable, and cost‑effective while contributing to Xerox’s own IT architecture practice.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure clients’ IT strategy and infrastructure directly support business goals and vision.
  • Develop long‑term technical roadmaps for enterprise architecture evolution.
  • Oversee design and implementation of technology frameworks across infrastructure, data, systems, and security.
  • Advise on business processes and IT systems to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Balance competing concerns such as cost, technical advancement, and future agility while avoiding technical debt.
  • Forecast industry trends and integrate applicable technologies for strategic advantage.
  • Maintain robust process and governance for IT strategy alignment, architecture definition, and technology road‑mapping.
  • Work closely with client CISO to embed appropriate cyber‑security controls.
  • Act as Quality Assurance gate for architectural matters during project development.
  • Support Programme Office in prioritisation and scheduling reviews.
  • Deliver benefit realisation reports for strategic IT initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Excellent understanding of IT strategy formation and realisation.
  • Practical knowledge of current IT infrastructures, systems, and data methods in mid‑market and enterprise scale businesses.
  • Proficient in designing solutions involving Hybrid Cloud, AI, SASE networks, Modern Workplace, DRaaS, Automation.
  • Strong analytical, logical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  • Team worker with a ‘can‑do’ attitude and ability to build effective business relationships.
Experience
  • At least seven years in a customer‑facing IT environment, with at least three years as a senior IT architect.
Education
  • Educated to degree level in an IT specialisation.
