Scope and Responsibilities

You’ll collaborate closely with our Sales, Solutions, and Delivery teams to design and articulate enterprise security solutions that drive long-term value for our customers. Your work will include:

  • Engaging directly with customers through meetings, workshops, and discovery sessions to understand their current security landscape, business objectives, and future challenges.
  • Designing end-to-end enterprise security architectures that align with best practice frameworks and customer requirements.
  • Acting as a technical authority throughout the pre‑sales and early delivery cycle, shaping solutions that are both achievable and strategically sound.
  • Leading technical presentations, architecture reviews, and solution demonstrations.
  • Partnering with Sales and Account teams to support strategic opportunities, providing technical credibility and thought leadership.
  • Staying ahead of emerging cyber security technologies and frameworks to ensure Nomios remains at the forefront of industry innovation.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise cyber security solutions.
  • Hands‑on experience with vendors such as Fortinet, Palo Alto, Juniper, Check Point, or Netskope, and familiarity with SIEM, SOAR, and managed security services.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise security architecture frameworks (e.g. SABSA, TOGAF, NIST, ISO 27001).
  • A confident, engaging personality with the ability to build rapport and credibility with customers at all levels.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to simplify complexity and influence decision‑making.
  • The desire to work across multiple customers, shaping their security strategy and acting as a long‑term trusted partner.
Job Specifics
  • Location: Hybrid role, requires attendance in our Manchester office and occasional work at our HQ in Basingstoke.
  • Hours: Full‑time, Monday‑Friday, 9:00 am‑5:30 pm, with occasional evening or weekend work if required.
  • Travel: UK travel, some overnight stays, occasional international trips if required.
  • Requirements: Must have a full UK driving licence to attend customer sites.
