Job summary

A leading pet supply company is seeking an experienced Engineering Technician for its Stafford Fulfilment Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for both preventative and reactive maintenance of automated storage systems and MHE. They must prioritize health & safety, ensure equipment availability, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Candidates should possess strong electrical and mechanical skills, as well as experience in maintenance systems and fault diagnosis.

Qualifications

• Multi skilled in both electrical and mechanical disciplines.
• Experience of planned preventive maintenance systems.
• Experience fault finding within MHE and automation systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with health & safety standards.
• Conduct planned preventive maintenance on equipment.
• React quickly to breakdowns and communicate effectively.

Skills

Multi skilled in both electrical and mechanical disciplines

Experience of planned preventive maintenance systems

Experience fault finding within MHE (Material Handling Equipment)

Experience in interpreting mechanical and electrical drawings

Experience of conveyor maintenance
