Engineering Resource Planner
Part time, 20 hours per week
Can be based in either Westhill, Aberdeen or Inchinnan, Glasgow
The Role:
The Engineering Resource Planner is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining effective resource planning and allocation processes across the engineering function.
This role will ensure visibility of engineering resource requirements, resource utilisation is transparent, and the forward‑looking workforce needs are clearly communicated. The postholder will also lead the set‑up and continuous improvement of the organisation’s engineering resource management and communication processes, supporting effective decision‑making and operational delivery.
This will be a key role within the planning team and will always look for ways to develop and improve processes, procedures and systems. This role will be key to stakeholders and also to operations planning (SIOP) process.
You will need excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder‑management abilities along with being highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
*You will need to be able to pass security clearance for this role and be a UK resident.
