This Apprenticeship will teach you fundamental principles of engineering, including the technical knowledge within your chosen pathway which include: Manufacturing, Maintenance, Electrical, Product Design, Fabrication or Material Finishing. This is the ideal starting point for an engineering apprentice.

Apprentices will need to be working towards and achieve the following job role requirements before their end point assessment:
Every employer is different and therefore the entry requirements can vary. As a guide, you ideally need GCSE grade 4 in English and Maths.
If you are 19 or over, functional skills are not required unless requested by the apprentice’s employer.
If required, we will work with you and provide additional support to help you achieve their requirements, either prior to your Apprenticeship or during the delivery of your programme.
Our world class Technology Centre provides aerospace,engineering and automotive students with state ofthe art equipment and learning spaces. Our CADdesign suite includes 25 computers running the latestindustry software, and the CAM workshop contains CNCmachining equipment to give you an understanding ofmodern automated manufacture.
