Job Overview

The Role Were looking for a skilled and safety-focused Commercial Catering Engineer to ensure our catering equipment, kitchen units, and full kitchen installations are operating at their best. Youll be the go-to expert for carrying out safety checks, diagnosing and repairing technical issues, supporting on-site commissioning, and keeping our hire fleet in top condition. This role needs someone with strong gas and equipment qualifications, a hands‑on approach, and the confidence to work both independently and as part of our Technical Support team.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough safety checks to ensure every piece of catering equipment is safe, compliant, and ready for action.
• Verify that all kitchen units and full kitchen installations meet safety standards and are fit for purpose.
• Maintain strong working knowledge of all equipment across the hire fleet, understanding how each item operates and its importance to the business.
• Diagnose and fix technical issues across equipment, kitchen units, and complete installations.
• Accurately complete all required documentation on time, every time.
• Keep your workspace clean, organised, and fully stocked.
• Travel to customer sites to carry out repairs, commissioning, and on-site technical support.
• Provide support to the Technical Support team whenever needed.
