Staff retention is high, largely because the charity offers genuine career progression and plenty of opportunities to develop.In a nutshell, the role will involve: Managing a caseload of around 20–25 clients, working with them to create personalised plans to support them into workDelivering one-to-one career advice and guidance, including CV writing, job searching, and interview preparationSpending one day per week at the Stockport office for team meetings and trainingSpending the rest of the week out in the community meeting clients (coffee shops, libraries, community centres, Jobcentres, etc.)Reaching out to employers and decision-makers to create job opportunities for clients (a real win-win, as there’s no cost to employers), including meeting them face to face to discuss candidatesThe charity is very supportive, with weekly team meetings, regular one-to-ones with your manager, and monthly reviews. There’s also structured training in place to help you get up to speed and feel confident in the role.Travel expenses and parking are paid, and you’ll need to be a driver with access to a car.To apply, you’ll need experience in a similar field such as employability, careers advice, or recruitment. This could include experience as a Recruitment Consultant, Job Coach, Careers Advisor, or Employment Advisor.Working hours: This is a Monday to Friday role, working 35 hours per week.
