A leading firm in oil & gas in Saffron Walden is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician. The role involves maintenance and testing on industrial pipeline systems with a focus on both planned and preventative maintenance. Qualifications

  • Must have formal electrical qualifications.
  • Experience in process manufacturing and industrial sectors is required.
  • Strong background in reactive and planned maintenance is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Provide resolution of electrical defects with technicians and engineers.
  • Carry out regular maintenance of LV distribution small power and lighting.
  • Accountable for updating Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • Complete emergency lighting and fire alarm testing.
  • Test in hazardous areas following safety procedures.

Skills

Formal Electrical Qualifications (e.g. City & Guilds, NVQ)
Process Manufacturing & Industrial Sector Experience
Strong Background In Reactive And Planned Maintenance
Experience Of Working On Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
COMPEX Qualification
COMAH Experience
