Electrical Journeyman – Winchester, AZ Solar Project

Cinterra is a leading provider of electrical utility and solar construction services. This role supports the installation of renewable energy solutions on the Winchester solar project.

Position Summary

Plan, lay out, install, test and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, conduits, and control systems in accordance with industry codes and project specifications.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Use hand and power tools to measure, cut, assemble, and install electrical conduits, weld supports, install cable and duct banks, make terminations, pull wire, connect lighting and equipment, install control apparatus, grounding leads, splice wiring, and test continuity.
• Participate in all safety processes and programs; maintain a safe work environment and use stop‑work authority when needed.
• Report accidents, near misses, and hazardous conditions to supervisors and engage in investigations when required.
• Participate in pre‑job planning and safety discussions, identify hazards, and implement corrective actions.
• Follow lockout/tagout procedures, site‑specific training, and company policies.
• Communicate effectively with team members and provide on‑the‑job training to helpers.
• Coordinate work with other trades and ensure quality work meets plans, specs, and standards.
• Read and interpret plans, one‑line diagrams, conduit schedules, ladder diagrams, P&I&D`s, and loop diagrams.
• Inspect helper's work for compliance, provide feedback, and take corrective action.
• Observe equipment and systems for hazards, notify supervision, and use stop‑work authority as needed.
• Comply with company code of conduct and jobsite policies.
• Perform any other duties requested by the supervisor.

Job Requirements and Qualifications

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50 lb.
• Stand, kneel, bend, stoop, and move in confined spaces and uneven areas.
• Full range of motion and flexibility.
• Use hands to handle tools and objects per procedure.
• Repetitive movement, climb ladders and scaffolds, and maintain balance.
• Work up to a 12‑hour shift in varying temperatures and weather.
• Operate in cramped, hot or cold conditions, with bright or inadequate lighting.
• Exposure to noise levels that may be uncomfortable.
• Work around hazardous equipment.
• This is a safety‑sensitive position.
