AWC Staff Services are looking for 3 National Grid Authorised Electrical Fitters, for work alongside our client on Melksham Substation.

About The Role

• Electrical fitting activities on high voltage switch gear, transformers and associated equipment
• Installation of control and protection equipment
• Installation of earthing systems
• Installation of outdoor equipment such as bus bar, disconnectors and switchgear
• Maintenance of high voltage equipment
• Fault finding on low and high voltage equipment
• Receiving high voltage documents

You must have your National Grid Persons Authorisation, and ideally your 360 Telehandler or Lift Supervisor to apply for the role.

Start: 5th January 2026

Duration: 7 Months

Rate: £30 Per Hour
