Job Title: Electrical Fitter
Location: Ashford
Position: Full-Time / Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00 - 16:30
Salary: £35,000 - £42,000 per annum (Dependent on experience)

About the Role

We are delighted to be recruiting exclusively for our Ashford based client. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on challenging projects involving industrial machinery, ensuring high-quality standards and compliance with safety regulations, they are a fantastic company with great values!

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and assembly of electrical control panels from components, their subsequent installation and integration onto machinery.
  • Electrical and electro-pneumatic assembly and testing of machinery including fault finding and PLC control set up.
  • Interpret and work from technical drawings, work closely with Design Engineers to develop new designs.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure seamless operation of machinery.
  • Apply expertise in pneumatics and electro-pneumatics to troubleshoot and optimise machinery performance.
  • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with BS EN 60204 Part 1 (Electrical Safety of Machinery) or equivalent specifications.
Qualifications and Experience
  • A minimum of Level 4/HNC in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in working with industrial machinery.
  • Proficiency in interpreting and understanding technical drawings.
  • Solid experience in handling pneumatics and electro-pneumatics systems.
  • Knowledge of BS EN 60204 Part 1 or equivalent electrical safety standards is essential.
