A leading energy company is offering an exciting Electrical Engineering Undergraduate Placement at Connah's Quay Power Station. The successful candidate will join a dynamic engineering team, gaining hands-on experience in maintaining and improving plant performance. The role involves working with different teams and completing various projects. Candidates should be pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering and possess knowledge of electrical systems. Part of a dynamic engineering team meeting the technical challenges of maintaining and improving plant performance, through utilising theoretical knowledge you've gained in your studies with hands‑on, practical experience.
If given the role, several suitable projects will be assigned to you, and it will be your responsibility to complete these, with support from the team, to a high standard during your placement at Connah’s Quay Power Station.
Post employment you will be fully onboarded and introduced to your new colleagues to make you feel part of the team.
Your initial activities will include spending time with the different teams on site to develop an understanding of each team’s contribution to the success of the power station.
Following these initial introductions, you will form part of the Engineering team, through to the end of your placement and will be involved in:
