The Group’s Agribusiness Division (Lakeland Agri) operates a state‑of‑the‑art Animal Feed Manufacturing Facility and is a leading and innovative provider of the highest quality feeds and agricultural inputs to dairy, beef, and sheep farmers across the north and south of Ireland.

The Role
Our new Effluent Plant Manager lead daily operations, maintenance, and compliance of our effluent treatment plant. This includes ensuring that wastewater is treated to meet or outperform all environmental regulations and industry standards while optimising process efficiency and minimising operational costs.
A key leadership role the successful applicant will oversee a team of operators, maintenance staff, and laboratory analysts, and collaborate closely with production, environmental, and health & safety teams.
Responsibilities
The Person
Our team are seeking an individual who possesses a 3rd level qualification in Chemical, Environmental or Process Engineering (or equivalent discipline) and substantial experience of effluent treatment operations from within a manufacturing environment.
A confident leader our new Effluent Plant Manager will have strong experience in leading a team, have working knowledge of environmental regulations, excellent communication & relationship skills and have the ability to create and implement effective solutions.
Experience from within the food or dairy manufacturing industry would be advantageous.
