This role combines hands-on patient care with clinical development, allowing the nurse to influence clinical standards and patient outcomes. A full UK driving license is essential due to the regional travel required.

Qualifications

• Full competence in administering a range of chemotherapy drugs.
• Be registered with the NMC with a qualification in chemotherapy delivery.
• Experienced in administering oncology medications in hospital or community setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality oncology care and support patients.
• Administer haematological and solid tumour chemotherapy treatments.
• Build long-lasting relationships with patients and stakeholders.

Skills

Competence in administering chemotherapy drugs

Registered with the NMC

Chemotherapy delivery qualification (preferably SACT passport)

Experience in administering oncology medications

Confidence in clinical assessment and IV administration

Passionate about person-centred care
