A leading life sciences organization in the UK is seeking a registered Chemotherapy Nurse to deliver high-quality oncology care and support patients throughout their treatment journey. This role combines hands-on patient care with clinical development, allowing the nurse to influence clinical standards and patient outcomes. Candidates must be NMC registered, have chemotherapy delivery qualifications, and be confident in administering oncology medications. A full UK driving license is essential due to the regional travel required.
Our team are seeking a registered Chemotherapy Nurse to deliver high-quality oncology care, support patients through their treatment journey, and contribute to the ongoing development of our field-based clinical workforce. The role will be based in the Cambridge area.
This role is a unique blend of hands-on patient care and clinical development. You’ll work directly with patients receiving chemotherapy while also supporting and developing other clinicians—helping to raise standards, build confidence, and embed best practice across services.

Working autonomously you will administer a range of haematological and solid tumour chemotherapy treatments, as defined in the patient’s care plan whilst sustaining professional standards.
Seeing between 1 – 8 patients per day, you will record all clinical data and document any adverse drug events via the correct protocol. Long lasting relationships will be built with patients, carers and stakeholders to aid and support treatment and recovery.
A full UK driving licence is essential as you will travel throughout a regional area.
To be successful in this role you will need to be fully competent administering a range of chemotherapy drugs and also have the following skills and attributes:
