Job summary

An educational support organization in the UK seeks a compassionate Education Expert to work one-on-one with disengaged students. Qualifications

• Experience teaching students with Special Educational Needs.
• Enhanced DBS certificate from last three months or registration on update service.

Responsibilities

• Design interventions to support academic engagement.
• Report progress, behavioral presentation & safeguarding concerns.
• Conduct risk assessments of environments and activities.
• Attend multi-agency meetings as needed.

Skills

Ability to build relationships with young people facing crises

Intermediate IT skills

Specialist knowledge of learning disabilities and conditions

Driving Licence and access to own vehicle

Education

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Teaching Qualification

Safeguarding qualification

Qualification in therapeutic discipline

Training in de-escalation techniques
