A regional educational service provider in Port Talbot is seeking a full-time Educational Psychologist to join their team. The successful candidate will support schools and families, contribute to local authority strategies, and promote early intervention. Applicants should possess relevant qualifications and experience working with diverse client groups. The role emphasizes a collaborative environment and offers professional development opportunities.
We are currently looking for an Educational Psychologist to join our team. This full-time permanent post is available from 1 September 2025. Applications are welcome from qualified Educational Psychologists who are registered with the Health & Care Professions Council, as well as those who are Trainee Educational Psychologists due to qualify.
Salary: £49,789 – £53,995 per annum Soulbury EP Scale A 4 – 6 (previous SPA points will be awarded)
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Full Time, 37 hours per week

You will join a friendly, lively and innovative team of School Aged and Early Years Educational Psychologists who are committed to assisting the Local Authority in achieving early intervention, increased inclusion and raising educational standards. The Service aims to support high expectations and achievement for all and to promote partnership with others while fulfilling statutory responsibilities and contributing to strategic priorities.
