About the Role

As an Education Welfare Partner, you will:

  • Provide expert advice and support to schools to improve attendance and reduce persistent absenteeism.
  • Work collaboratively with local authority attendance teams to deliver statutory functions.
  • Prepare evidence for legal proceedings and represent schools at Magistrates' Court when required.
  • Analyse attendance data and help schools develop strategic plans.
    Liaise with multi-agency partners and contribute to safeguarding processes.
  • Promote equality, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of your work.
    The vacancy is to start as soon as possible and is initially fixed term until 31 March 2026.
