A secure training facility in Milton Keynes seeks an Education Liaison Officer to support young people's education and career prospects. This role involves collaboration with external professionals, tracking educational progress, and promoting a positive learning environment. Candidates should have experience working with youth and be eligible for DBS clearance. Salary range: £24,058.62 - £26,572.03 per annum
Employment type: Permanent – Full‑time (40 hours per week)

About Us: G4S Oakhill Secure Training Centre (STC) cares for children aged 12 to 18 years who have been remanded or sentenced to periods of detention. The children in our care can be vulnerable and challenging, with a wide range of complex social and emotional needs. This is an environment that calls for high standards of social care and service delivery to provide a secure and stable environment for children to develop life skills and address previous behaviours. We aim to support change and learning.
We are now expanding our Education team and are looking for an Education Liaison Officer to support our young people to recognise their potential by working alongside our children and their professionals to prepare them for future education and work prospects.
You must be eligible to work in the UK, have resided in the UK for at least 3 years, and be able to undergo DBS enhanced level security clearance. You will also need to provide full details of your work and educational history covering the last 10 years as part of the screening process.
