Qualifications

• Proven work experience in the manufacture and/or inspection of flexible hoses.
• Knowledge and experience in manufacture inspection and test of flexible hose assemblies.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office programs to generate reports and registers.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect customers’ hoses and fittings in line with inspection procedures.
• Identify hose types and condition, register flexible hoses using online database.
• Complete reports accurately and recommend solutions to identified problems.

Skills

The role?

A new permanent role has arisen within our offshore team for a Hose Inspector/Installer to join the flying squad. The role is based offshore and includes a staff retainer salary and offshore uplifts for each trip. The work is carried out on an ad‑hoc basis. Work will mainly be North Sea but there could be the opportunity to go overseas for certain work scopes.

• Visually inspect customers’ hoses and fittings whilst in situ, in line with company inspection procedures
• Identify hose types, fittings and condition, in line with procedures
• Tagging hoses on site
• Register flexible hoses (Using Online Hose Management Database)
• Completion of reports (Daily Reports/Survey Close Out Reports) accurately and time‑suitably
• Recommending possible solutions to problems identified with customer hoses, applications or operating procedures and carry out remedial actions where appropriate
• Identification and use of appropriate fittings for specified hoses, as per customer specification
• Onsite hose assembly and pressure testing

You are?

To be successful for this role you will have proven work experience in the manufacture and/or inspection of flexible hoses. You will have knowledge and experience in manufacture inspection and test of flexible hose assemblies and the ability to use Microsoft Office programs to generate reports and registers. Ideally you will already have experience in the offshore service industry or a similar environment.
