Job description

We have an opportunity for a Trainee Dental Nurse to join our Edinburgh Dental Specialists practice in Edinburgh.

No previous dental experience is needed for this role. If you have a genuine interest in health and well-being, are passionate about delivering great service, and looking for a career where you can learn, grow and develop, then this could be a perfect fit for you.

Full‑time hours

40 hours per week

Training supported by our highly experienced team – your course will be overseen by an external course provider and is fully funded by PortmanDentex.

About you

We recommend that you hold Maths & English GCSE grade A‑C/4‑9 or Key Skills/Functional Skills Level 2.

Happy to be a key player in the team providing chair‑side assistance, ensuring that the correct materials and equipment are available during each clinical session.

Comfortable learning to perform high‑quality dental nursing while assisting each dentist, hygienist or therapist in all procedures.
