Qualifications

• Must have full GMC registration and primary medical degree.
• Expected to have higher research degree and CCT in General and Liaison Psychiatry.
• Experience managing research studies and teaching clinical colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric assessments and treatments for patients at PMU.
• Lead innovative research in mental health related to gastroenterology.
• Provide consultation and supervision to staff regarding psychological needs.

Skills

Experience working as part of MDTs

Proficiency in assessment and management

Experience of delivering care in an NHS environment

Education

Primary Medical Degree

Full GMC Registration

Higher Research degree

CCT in General Psychiatry (or expected)

CCT in Liaison Psychiatry (or expected)
