A prestigious property consultancy in the UK is seeking a land agent to work in rural surveying across East Anglia. The role combines management and valuation tasks, providing professional advice to a diverse client portfolio. Candidates should have RICS qualifications and relevant experience, with an emphasis on business development. This position offers competitive benefits and the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment.
Looking for a rural surveying role that will allow you to get out and about across East Anglia, without being pigeonholed into a particular discipline? We are looking for a land agent to do a mix of management, valuation and other professional work to join our growing team in Cambridge.
In this role, main tasks will include:
You’ll bring your experience and apply it to some exciting client portfolios and projects – from national institutions such as The Crown Estate to Cambridge Colleges, and innovative farming businesses to privately-owned estates which have been in the family for generations.
In doing so, you’ll pick up loads of new experience which will propel you forward in your career – whether that’s learning on the job with a team that will both support you and empower you to work autonomously, or through formal training that can be tailored to your needs.
You’ll also be joining a team that likes to socialise, whether that’s a pint after work or a barbecue and garden games at one of our homes.
Rural estates are changing, and this means that we’re able to open applications to a wider pool of people than ever – and we’re as keen to hear from you if you’re looking to refocus into rural, as we are if you’ve been a rural surveyor since the beginning of your career.
If you’re RICS-qualified and have post-qualification experience, we can teach you the rest. Got significant experience? Our team is always growing and evolving, so we can work with you to shape a role and a package that works for your experience and goals, and our clients’ needs.
We offer a highly competitive rewards package including group pension, flexible benefits, referral schemes and generous annual leave.
As an equal opportunity employer, we are dedicated to driving diversity and inclusion in the workplace. Learning and development is important to us; we encourage everyone to continue developing to optimise their performance and fulfil their potential. We have an agile flexible working policy; many of our team work flexibly, we would be happy to talk to you about how this could work for you. We enjoy what we do, and we do it well, which is why 80% of our business comes from repeat clients.
