The ideal candidate should have exposure to both claimant and respondent employment work, possess strong legal knowledge, and have advocacy skills in court settings. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with a friendly demeanor and the ability to handle individual caseloads responsibly. The candidate should be hard-working, out-going and a good team player. Experience of working in a city or medium/large provincial practice is desirable. They should have a keen interest in employment law and be able to discuss knowledgeably topical employment law issues.
