YOUR IMPACT

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic L&D Trainer to join our Learning and Development team. As an L&D Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering and evaluating training programs to enhance the knowledge, skills, and performance of our employees, and play a crucial role in fostering a culture of continuous learning and development within Marcus.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Schedule and deliver training sessions on various topics, such as customer service, product knowledge and company policies.
  • Facilitate training sessions, maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment, and adapting delivery methods to accommodate different learning styles and participant needs.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary improvements to enhance training outcomes.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify training needs and develop comprehensive learning objectives.
  • Assist the team by creating training materials for classroom and eLearning modules.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and advancements in learning technologies to continuously enhance the quality and relevance of training programs.
  • Collaborate with HR and departmental leaders to support the onboarding of new employees and the ongoing development of existing staff members.
  • Maintain training records and reports, tracking training participation, effectiveness, and impact on employee performance.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Experienced trainer with excellent training and facilitation skills, with an understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and training evaluation techniques.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to collect and analyze data to measure training effectiveness and make data‑driven decisions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and other software to deliver high quality materials.
  • Product knowledge across Banking and Savings within retail banking.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum 1 year’s experience in a Learning and Development delivery role.
  • Customer service / Learning & Development.
  • TAP training qualification or similar.
  • CIPD Level 3 in Learning & Development.
