Job summary

A leading automotive recruitment firm is seeking a qualified Vehicle Mechanic near Reading, UK. You will work in a busy workshop maintaining a fleet of vehicles, with opportunities to train on specialist public sector vehicles. The role requires a full UK driving licence and qualifications such as NVQ level 3 or PCV/HGV City and Guilds. Qualifications

• Apprentice trained and fully qualified Vehicle Mechanic.
• Experience with a variety of light vehicles, vans, or HGVs.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on vehicles.
• Conduct 6 weekly inspections.
• Carry out pre M.O.T inspections.
• Perform vehicle diagnostics.
