Job description

The Electronics Engineer will be responsible for electronics design within the global Pulsar Measurement R&D team. With strong knowledge and experience in electronics, design, and product certification, you will excel within a multi-skilled R&D team contributing to delivery against Pulsar Measurement’s engineering and product development objectives.

Who We Are:

Pulsar Measurement is part of the TASi Measurement group and is a worldwide leader in ultrasonic instrumentation for wastewater, industrial, and environmental markets. Since 1986, we have developed, manufactured, and marketed industrial flow and level monitoring instruments including ultrasonic level transmitters, clamp-on ultrasonic flow meters, and open channel flow meters.

Your Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  1. Design, develop, and integrate analogue and digital electronic circuits to meet system specifications for new products and projects.
  2. Engage in early-stage design and proof-of-concepts to support innovation.
  3. Simulate and characterize electronic systems using diagnostic software tools.
  4. Create full schematics and PCB layouts using Altium.
  5. Test and diagnose electronic circuits and systems, including prototype development and validation.
  6. Design for compliance with safety and quality standards related to electromagnetic compatibility, radio emissions, and hazardous location operations.
  7. Manage schematics and BOMs.
  8. Collaborate with cross-functional, global, and multidisciplinary teams.
Position Requirements:
  1. At least 3 years of experience in electronic circuit design.
  2. Solid understanding of electronic design principles; experience with signal conditioning and low power systems is advantageous.
  3. Experience designing and prototyping analogue and electronic systems, including PCB layouts.
  4. Knowledge of electronic circuit analysis and diagnostic tools.
  5. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  6. Experience or knowledge of RF design, electromagnetic compatibility, or hazardous location protection is beneficial.
  7. Experience working with sensors or embedded systems is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:

A relevant degree or equivalent in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.

Travel may be required based on business needs, including regions, factories, offices, customer locations, and suppliers.
