Overview

Pathway is partnering with a well-established boutique law firm in East Belfast, specialising in Litigation, Motor Claims, Credit Hire, and Personal Injury Litigation.

The firm is seeking a Motor Claims Solicitor to join them initially on a 6-month secondment, working on-site with a key client. Following the secondment, the role will transition to the firm’s East Belfast office, with hybrid working available.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy, respected firm, gain valuable client-side experience, and secure a longer-term role within a supportive and collaborative team. All levels of PQE will be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a varied motor claims caseload, including RTA and associated litigation matters
• Handle files from inception through to resolution
• Advise clients on liability, quantum, and strategy
• Draft pleadings, correspondence, and other legal documentation
• Liaise with insurers, third parties, counsel, and internal stakeholders
• Work on-site with the client during the secondment period, integrating into their processes and systems
• Ensure compliance with court rules, deadlines, and regulatory requirements

Essential Skills and Experience

• Qualified Solicitor (NQ–Senior PQE considered)
• Experience in motor claims, insurance litigation, or personal injury litigation
• Strong case management and organisational skills
• Confident communicator with a client-focused approach
• Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment
• Comfortable working on-site during the secondment phase
