It is headquartered in London with offices in New York and Singapore.**How you will create an impact**Primary responsibilities will include:* Engaging with existing and prospective users to understand and document their information needs predicated on an understanding of both business processes and the business decisions that users need to make* Provide Analyst support to new and on-going BI projects to enable them to meet their deadlines* Working with IT colleagues to understand and document available data sources and their interrelation* Collaborating with other team members to design solutions* Collaborating with other team members to develop strong reconciliation and control processes* Working with quality assurance to ensure that business requirements are met**What you’ll need to succeed*** Experience of fulfilling a BI Analyst role in the full life-cycle of a DW/BI project* A good knowledge of commercial Insurance and (ideally) both reinsurance and the Lloyd’s Market* Experience of working in a multi-country, multi-site environment* Demonstrable understanding of the collateral factors that lead to success in DW/BI projects, including user engagement, prototyping, MDM, data quality and educational approach* Excellent problem solving skills* Excellent collaboration skills to manage problem resolutions effectively* Able to build strong relationships with stakeholders* Excellent interpersonal , verbal and written communication skills* Excellent documentation skills - BRDs, Functional Specifications, User Stories & Source to Targets* Can effectively communicate business and technical information across the organisation, being sensitive to the needs of different audiences* Able to work independently at the same time as professionally representing the team* Able to inspire trust from stakeholders#LI-AIGAt AIG, we value in-person collaboration as a vital part of our culture, which is why we ask our team members to be primarily in the office.
