Job summary

A leading media company in the UK is seeking a Senior Management Accountant to support scripted production labels. The role involves managing forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting, ensuring robust governance and insightful analysis. Successful candidates are fully qualified accountants with experience in the media or creative industries, plus strong Excel skills. The position is initially offered as a 12-month contract with the potential for permanency, and allows for a hybrid working arrangement between London offices.

Qualifications

• Significant post-qualification experience as an Accountant.
• Strong understanding of AVEC process.
• Proven experience in a multi-entity environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly forecasting and annual budgeting processes.
• Monitor financial performance against budget and forecast.
• Manage cash flow forecasting and production-level funding.
• Lead the relationship with external accountancy partners.
• Provide hands-on production and operational finance support.

Skills

Fully qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA)

Experience within the Media, TV Production, or Creative industries

Strong Excel skills

Understanding of High End Scripted TV Production process

Education

Fully qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA)

Tools

ITV systems or similar large ERPs like SAP/Hyperion
