Job summary

A training provider in Sheffield seeks a Trainer to coach and develop learners in their People Professional roles. As a Trainer, you will manage apprentices through their learning journey, providing guidance and support for their skills development. This role includes offering coaching sessions, building relationships with employers to create training opportunities, and ensuring learners are prepared for assessments. The ideal candidate will be highly communicative, organized, and proficient with IT, particularly Office 365 applications.

Qualifications

• You’re an excellent communicator, people orientated (essential).
• You’re organised and proactive with planning (essential).
• You’re proficient with IT equipment, particularly Office 365 applications and webinar software (essential).
• You have proven subject matter expertise and competency (essential).
• You have experience with, or knowledge of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) qualifications (desirable).
• You have knowledge of the further education sector (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of People Professional apprentices throughout their apprenticeship journey.
• Advise, coach, and support apprentices via monthly coaching sessions.
• Build effective relationships with employers to enhance training opportunities.
• Provide motivational feedback to learners on their performance.
• Ensure learners are prepared and confident for their endpoint assessment.
• Participate in professional development sessions related to the CIPD.
