Headteacher – Repton Manor Primary School

Repton Manor Primary School is a vibrant, nurturing and forward-thinking school within the Lightyear Federation. We are seeking an inspirational Headteacher to lead our talented staff, engaged pupils, and supportive community into the next stage of the school’s journey. They will demonstrate a clear commitment to creating and sustaining a shared ethos and culture in which pupils are at the centre of all decision-making, ensuring the best possible outcomes.

The Headteacher will lead the embedding of nurture principles at a universal level across the whole curriculum, ensuring a holistic approach to pupil achievement and inclusive practice. They will champion an environment in which academic success and emotional wellbeing are equally valued, and where behaviour is understood holistically and learning is viewed developmentally.

Through this approach, the Headteacher will secure the best possible start to each child’s learning journey, empowering pupils to reach their full potential and achieve aspirational life goals.

About the Role

As Headteacher, you will:

  • Provide strategic and inspirational leadership that secures the highest standards of teaching, learning and pupil achievement.
  • Build and sustain a collaborative and nurturing culture that values every pupil, member of staff and the school community.
  • Drive school improvement through clear educational direction, rigorous self-evaluation, and evidence-informed decision making.
  • Champion inclusion and wellbeing, ensuring that all pupils receive the very best support.
  • Work in partnership with the Governing Body and Federation Leadership Team to deliver shared goals and strengthen collaboration across schools.
