Job summary

A well-established healthcare organization is seeking a Functional Assessor to conduct client assessments and support the Department for Work and Pensions in determining eligibility for benefits. The role offers a salary starting at £39,500 per year, with full-time and part-time options available. Primary duties include carrying out assessments and producing reports. Ideal candidates are NMC registered nurses or HCPC qualified professionals with excellent communication skills and at least one year of post-registration experience.

Qualifications

• 1 year or more of broad post-registration experience required.
• Comfortable working with a diverse range of conditions, including mental health.

Responsibilities

• Carry out 5 to 6 client assessments per day.
• Produce factual reports to aid DWP in determining eligibility for benefits.
• Conduct assessments via telephone, video, or face-to-face.

Education
