Job summary

A leading Retail insurer is seeking a Senior Portfolio Pricing Analyst to strengthen its Pricing function in Manchester. This role will focus on delivering performance insights, forecasting, and portfolio analysis to support commercial decision-making across multiple Retail lines. Candidates should have experience in insurance pricing and strong data analysis skills, along with exposure to tools like Python, SQL, and Power BI. The position offers a hybrid work setup with 2–3 days per week in the office.

Qualifications

• Experience in insurance pricing, portfolio, trading or actuarial analytics.
• Strong data analysis skills and ability to communicate insights clearly.
• Understanding of Retail performance metrics (LR, COR, forecasts etc.).

Responsibilities

• Analysing portfolio performance and key drivers across products/channels.
• Producing LR/COR forecasts, profit trajectories, and budgeting insights.
• Providing actionable, data-led recommendations based on internal & external data.
