## **Job Description**The Assistant Broker supports brokers in servicing clients, preparing insurance submissions, managing policy documentation, and coordinating with insurers. This role is detail-oriented and client-focused, ensuring policies are accurately placed, renewed, and maintained while delivering excellent customer service.**Key Responsibilities**· Support brokers with day-to-day account management for new and existing clients· Prepare insurance submissions, quotations, endorsements, renewals, and policy documents· Liaise with insurance carriers, underwriters, and clients to obtain information and resolve issues· Review policies and endorsements for accuracy and compliance· Maintain client files and update broker management systems and CRM records· Assist with invoicing, premium tracking, and documentation follow-ups· Respond to client inquiries and route complex issues to the broker as needed· Ensure adherence to regulatory, compliance, and internal procedures· Provide general administrative and operational support to the brokerage team**Required Qualifications**· High school diploma or equivalent (post-secondary education in business or insurance preferred)· 1–3 years of experience in insurance, financial services, or an administrative support role· Basic understanding of insurance products and terminology (personal or commercial lines)· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills· Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with broker management systems a plus· Excellent written and verbal communication skillsThe Assistant Broker supports brokers in servicing clients, preparing insurance submissions, managing policy documentation, and coordinating with insurers.
