Job summary

A construction and engineering firm is seeking an ambitious Electrical Superintendent to oversee operations in a precast concrete facility within the tunnelling sector. The ideal candidate will have a recognised electrical qualification, extensive construction experience, and the ability to lead teams efficiently. Qualifications

• Extensive first-hand construction experience.
• Proven experience working with High Voltage (HV) and Low Voltage (LV) electrical distribution systems.
• Ability to identify, source, and manage materials for operational reliability.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for electrical operations in the manufacturing facility.
• Review and control RAMS and safe systems of work.
• Act as technical authority for HV and LV systems.
• Plan and deliver preventive and corrective maintenance for plant availability.
• Lead electrical personnel ensuring competence and safety.

Skills

Ability to lead electrical teams

Excellent working knowledge of materials

High level of competence in industrial electrical systems

Understanding of cost impacts

Education

Recognised UK electrical qualification

SSSTS/SMSTS or equivalent
