Job summary

A leading engineering consultancy in Birmingham is looking for experienced Software Testing Engineers to join their team. This role involves delivering User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Production Acceptance Testing (PAT) for manufacturing systems. Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of relevant experience, proficiency in HP ALM, and strong analytical skills. You will engage with stakeholders to ensure testing accuracy and prepare outcomes reports. This is a key role in supporting digital transformation within a premium automotive customer.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in a similar Test Analyst role, including User Acceptance Testing.
• Experience in Manufacturing is desirable.
• Ability to engage with a variety of stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate governance readiness sessions for test phases.
• Create and execute manual UAT and PAT test scenarios.
• Use test management tools to capture UAT/PAT results.
• Track defects to resolution through standard processes.
• Engage with stakeholders to support testing.
• Prepare Test Completion Reports.
